Concept build, sample business

A mobile detailing day, run from one screen.

A Concept build: software for a made-up mobile detailer, Hushwater Mobile Detail in Benicia. Everything in it is sample data.

The problem

  • The day lives in your head and a notebook.
  • The phone rings while you’re working on a car, and the caller books someone else.
  • “Let me check and call you back” is where the booking goes.
  • A dog-hair minivan gets booked at the regular price.
  • No-shows and rain cost you the afternoon.
  • The balance gets “sent later”.

What the software does

  • Answers the calls you miss, asks the vehicle size first, and books a time you’re really open.
  • Lets customers pick their vehicle and service, see only your open times, and pay a deposit if you take one.
  • Sends the jobs you price on a look (pet hair, a spill, a ceramic coating) to you first, with photos.
  • Reminds every customer the evening before, with a way to move to another open time.
  • Keeps before and after photos on the job card, and takes the balance before you drive off.
  • Asks every customer for a review, and offers a regular maintenance wash.

  2. The missed call, answered

Ana calls while the detailer’s working. The line picks up, says it’s automated and the call is recorded, asks the size of the vehicle first, and books a time that’s really open.

  3. Size, service, an open time

The customer picks their vehicle size and the service, and the price follows. They only see open times. It’s confirmed for both of you right away.

  4. A job priced on a look

Pet hair, a spill, a ceramic coating: those come to you first. The customer sends photos, gets a price and two open times back, and picks one.

  5. The reminder

The evening before, every customer gets a reminder. If they need to move, they can only pick a time that’s really open.

  6. Rain on Thursday

That’s your call. One tap moves the afternoon to open times on the next dry day, and each customer sees the new time confirmed.

  9. The review request

When a job’s done, every customer is asked for a Google review, not just the happy ones.

  10. The maintenance wash

It offers a regular wash, so a one-time customer becomes a regular.

What this isn’t. No client. No results. A made-up business and sample data, built to show the idea.
